What is Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS)?
Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) is a Walmart Seller program in which Walmart manages both the warehousing and distribution of a seller's products similar to Amazon FBA. Sellers who wish to take advantage of these services can now integrate WFS with Zentail.
Upon integrating WFS, Zentail will sync orders and inventory from WFS. Within Zentail you will be able to monitor your inventory levels in the WFS shipping node. You will also be able to view incoming orders from WFS, which will provide a more complete picture of your business in Zentail's Analytics and reporting.
Getting started on WFS
First, you will need to apply on Walmart to enroll in the WFS program. You can do this by applying here. There are certain requirements by Walmart you will need to pass in order to successfully enroll in the WFS Program.
Once enrolled users will need to inform Walmart which SKUs to convert to WFS and create a Shipping Manifest on Seller Center and sending products directly to a WFS center.
Keep in mind Walmart will need to approve of products before they are converted into WFS products. To be accepted into the WFS program items must meet certain criteria such as:
Less than 30 lbs.
Not larger than 25” x 20” x 14”
Listing data quality requirements
The best practice is to ensure items do not have listing errors and key attributes are filled appropriately.
Setting up the Zentail integration
Once you have been enrolled by Walmart in the WFS program you can integrate WFS into Zentail simply by (1) creating a new warehouse, (2) naming the warehouse based on your preference, and (3) selecting the appropriate Walmart integration as the inventory integration.
Key Note: Adding warehouses and Integrations is a reserved feature for Admin users
Once these steps are completed inventory and order will begin to sync. Important: This warehouse should remain DISABLED for all channels in the warehouse channel overrides.
