This new Zentail feature, Internal Notes, is a text field located under the General Info tab for each SKU.  Whatever information is entered in this field you can rest assured it is never sent to any channel. 

Use your imagination!  You can use Internal Notes for any kind of notes or reminders you want to attach to a SKU, like “Don’t list to eBay”, “Check listing on [date] for sales”, or “Available from vendor X”.  

The maximum number of characters that can be stored in this field is 4000.  

In addition to being accessible on a per SKU basis, Internal Notes is both importable and exportable, and it can be viewed and edited via Quick Edit.
