Enabling the Shopify Pricing Sync on your Zentail integrations page gives Zentail permission to send price to Shopify. Before you enable this feed option, make sure you've reviewed the article on How to Audit Your Pricing in Zentail and you are confident about your pricing in Zentail.
Key Considerations
When does Zentail send price to Shopify?
Please note that Zentail will send price info to Shopify:
If the Price Sync Feed is enabled
The SKU is set to "List" to Shopify
The SKU is an "active" SKU on Zentail
If the above conditions are all satisfied, Zentail will send a price feed to Shopify*:
Whenever the price, product data, or inventory changes on Zentail OR
At least once every 24 hours
*Important exception: If the product data sync for Shopify is disabled on a per SKU basis, Zentail will not send pricing for that SKU.
Steps to complete before enabling the Pricing Sync feed
Connect your Shopify account.
Make sure your integration is in Production Mode.
When you should NOT enable the Pricing Sync feed
If any of the below circumstances apply to you, you may want to keep the pricing sync feed disabled.
You use Business Pricing on Shopify
You use Quantity Discounts Pricing on Shopify
Your pricing in Zentail is not accurate
Enabling the Pricing Sync Feed
Complete all steps in the above "Steps to complete before enabling the Pricing Sync feed" section.
Go to your Integrations page on Zentail
Make sure you are view the Shopify integration tab.
Enable the Pricing Sync Feed
Save Settings!
Use MSRP as 'Compare at Price'
If you enable this option in the integration settings, this will allow Zentail to send MSRP as a "compare" price with a strike-through. However, this comparison pricing is not sent with the pricing data. Instead, MSRP for Shopify is sent with the product data. See more about enabling the product data sync for Shopify here.
