Zentail connects to your Amazon account through Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API). To do that, you give Zentail permission in Seller Central. If that permission lapses or is removed, Zentail can no longer sync orders, inventory or listings until you reconnect.
Why the connection stops
Amazon access ends when the authorization you granted Zentail lapses, or when someone on your account removes the Zentail app in Seller Central under Apps and Services > Manage Your Apps.
What you'll see in Zentail
A banner across the top of Zentail: "Unable to connect to <your Amazon integration> — the channel rejected the saved credentials; reauthorize the integration." On the Integrations page, your Amazon card shows Not Connected.
How to reconnect
In Zentail, go to Integrations and open your Amazon integration.
Click Login with Amazon.
Sign in to the Seller Central account this storefront belongs to. If Amazon signs you in to a different account automatically, use a private or incognito browser window.
Tick the box to accept the terms, then click Confirm.
You're sent back to Zentail, and syncing resumes.
If you no longer sell on that Amazon account
While the storefront is disconnected, its card offers Pause this storefront. Pausing stops Zentail from trying to reach Amazon for it.
About MWS tokens
Older versions of this article asked you to renew an MWS Authorization Token and paste it into Zentail. Amazon retired MWS, its older API, in 2024. Zentail no longer uses MWS tokens, so there is nothing to paste.
