How to Export / Backup Shopify Product Catalog

Learn how to generate a backup of your Shopify product catalog in your Shopify admin portal.

To generate a backup export for your Shopify catalog, please follow these steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Products.

  2. Click Export.

  3. From the dialog box, choose All products.

  4. Select CSV file for Excel, Numbers, or another spreadsheet program.

  5. Click Export products. 

  6. An email is sent to you containing a secure download link. Click the link to retrieve your product CSV file.

  7. Email the .zip file to support@zentail.com or attach it to a chat conversation in Zentail.
