In short, your Sales Mix Score represents how diverse your sales are! Which is a way to keep a dial on how secure and defensible your business is to major shifts from a single source of revenue.
How it is Calculated
Using the sales data flowing into your account, Zentail uses the below calculation to provide you with a score of how concentrated your sales are.
LOG(11-SUM( summation((percent of gmv * 100)^2) over each integration)/1000 base 11)*10
If 100% of your sales come from a single channel, you'll score a 0. If you have five sales channels that each make up 20% of your GMV you'll score 9+ (way to go!).
The most defensible brands tend to maintain a Sales Mix Score above 6.0.
